Taking Precautions Against COVID-19
Horizon Medical is following the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to help ensure the safety of our patients and our staff. Everyone is screened for symptoms before being allowed into the Center. This includes a temperature check. Everyone must wear a mask at all times. If a patient does not have a mask, one will be provided. We ask that patients come into the Center alone. Exceptions can be made for individuals who need assistance with communications or mobility. Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the Center, and our employees wash their hands before and after every patient session. The MRI rooms are disinfected between each procedure. Entry areas and frequently touched surfaces are disinfected regularly throughout the day. Also, furniture in waiting areas has been arranged for social distancing.
If a patient has symptoms prior to the scheduled appointment or has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, they will need to call the Center to reschedule.
